PARASKEVOPOULOS MEDICAL - MEDICAL SUPPLIES was founded in Athens in 2000. The company primarily engages in the sale of new and refurbished ultrasound machines and is able to equip Gynecology, Cardiology, Radiology and other practices with medical equipment and supplies.

Kostas Paraskevopoulos has been active in the medical equipment and supplies industry since 1978. He is amongst the first to introduce Ultrasound and Computed Tomography Scanners to the Greek market.

In 2001, we became the Authorized Dealers for GE Medical Healthcare Solutions and since then promote ultrasound, MRI, mammography and bone density measurement systems

“Paraskevopoulos Medical” Quality Policy

The Quality Management System is based on the requirements and specifications that are defined in the International Standard ISO:9001:2015, and on the requirements that are stipulated by the relevant Law that concerns the Enterprise and its activities. The Quality Management System refers to all of the Company’s activities, which include:

  • Marketing of Medical/Diagnostic Machines and Equipment
  • Marketing of Medical Supplies/Diagnostic Machines and Equipment
  • Provision of Service and Spare Parts for the above Machines and Equipment

The Quality System is focused on customers and their needs and requirements (expressed or implied). Therefore, the System has been designed to meet both the Customer’s requirements and the requirements for the products and services that are provided.

Key objectives of the Quality System include:

  • Satisfaction with respect to the delivery (conditions, time), type and quality of provided products and/or services that have been agreed with the customers.
  • The continuous improvement of the service provision processes, the overall operation of the quality system and the company in general.

The success of the above is determined through the key service provision processes, which define actions such as:

  • The systematic monitoring of the system’s monitoring via Management’s annual reviews, internal audits, etc.
  • The clear determination of the customer’s requirements.
  • The continuous monitoring of the suppliers’ performance.
  • The continuous staff training and education.
  • The validated and continuous monitoring and measurement of the degree of customer satisfaction.
  • The assurance of the necessary resources (human, supplies and financial) for the quality system to be successful.
  • The validated search for causes of problems and weaknesses, in order to establish and apply the necessary corrections/corrective actions & improvement proposals, in order to prevent their reoccurrence.
  • The regular monitoring of Objectives and Quality Indices, which are reviewed at least once a year.
  • The validated and regular/annual review of the enterprise’s context.
  • The validated and regular/annual review of the purpose and scope of the enterprise’s quality management system

The complete implementation of the quality system’s principles through the staff’s continuous updating and training at all levels, aimed primarily at the understanding of the purposes and philosophy of the quality management system.
